Hey Friends, it’s been a minute🤍
Earlier this year I had some branding photos done by the lovely and I thought they’d pair well with some kind of a reintroduction & a little update.
Here are some thoughts and ramblings, ideas, and words from my little break…
First of all- grief is hard. Over the past year, so much has changed. Between adjusting to a completely different life, finding a balance between work, life, and quality time with loved ones is super tricky! Photography has been on the back burner for a while now and it has been difficult to find the time for editing and staying on top of things.
2023 was a rollercoaster, to say the least, and 2024 has been moving a million miles a minute! I am incredibly thankful for everyone that I was able to meet, all of the beautiful days I have been blessed to witness, and the grace + support of all my clients through it all. Y’all are truly the best.
Some have asked if I will still be doing photography, and the answer is.. absolutely. Seriously, I love what I do. I adore the people I get to meet, I am so passionate about creating art, telling stories, documenting, and I pray that I can do this for as long as I’m able.
Moving forward though, I’ll be taking on less work. Quality time with family has become a massive priority for me, and as much as I love what I do, I simply cannot do it all. Minimizing my workload will help to improve gallery lead times and better your experience!
Side note; It makes me SO happy to see all the life updates from lovely people I’ve photographed. So many new babies, fun trips, house things etc. Cheering you all on and wishing you nothing but the best🤍
I have an abundance of work from last year, and this year that I haven’t shared with you all. (I’m kinda bad at the whole social media thing) but I am real excited to begin posting again.
If you managed to read all of that, I appreciate you, and thanks for sticking around!
Stay tuneddd
