This is the last recipe I created for - coq au vin style meatballs - which you can find in the Jan/Feb 2024 issue - EAT’s final. My first photo and article for EAT was created almost 17 years ago. It is hard to believe how many years have passed and how many opportunities my experiences with EAT have lead me towards. Without question, I have Gary Hynes to thank for giving this newbie a chance back in 2007 and being my launching pad to what has been a wonderful and satisfying creative career. (If you read anything by other EAT contributors, you will know that this is a common theme among us).
I will miss you, EAT! I am so grateful for all you have given me, and for the friends I’ve made along the way. You have been a big part of my life, in varying degrees, for so long. Thank you, Gary. Thank you, Cynthia. This little magazine will always be a foodie legend in this town. ❤️ I hope you all enjoy the last glimpse of our little EAT family and the contributions we’ve so joyfully made together.
