Greenland was not what I expected. It was not all green. ;)
Taking a "wooden" boat out to visit the icebergs was a little scary. All I could think in the beginning was "what if we hit a chunk of ice." These massive pieces of ice that had broken off the glacier were amazing.

Going on safari was a personal highlight of all the years of traveling. I had never photographed wildlife like the animals we saw on this trip. On of our first trips we were so fortunate to see a group of mother lionesses taking care of their cubs. When this cub decided to crawl under it's mom and stand there I knew it was a special pic.
