Two pieces of west coast waves are waiting for their next homes. 🌊

I’m so happy to have these original oil paintings hanging at Orange Door Gallery here in Ucluelet and available for purchase through Pacific Rim Arts Society

“Flo Bay” was inspired by a stormy day at South Flo, when the south swell hits just right and the ocean comes alive. It’s wild, powerful.

“Waves Aligned” captures one of those rare moments when everything seems to come together. The waves find their rhythm, the light catches the water just right, and for a fleeting second, everything feels perfectly aligned.

If you’re wandering through Ucluelet this summer, stop into Orange Door Gallery and see them in person. The texture, movement, and depth of the oil paint are something photos can never quite capture.

Misty Cool Air. Chesterman Beach Tofino BC.

Waves rolling like thunder, filling the bay with movement and force. Excitement for both wave watchers and surfers. Frank’s Island in the distance just visible through the haze.

A quiet moment in the studio while I painted this piece. standing at the canvas working layer by layer, holding onto that vision and energy.

This is one of my signature larger works and currently available in my Bayside exhibit.

This one was really fun to paint! Full of texture and movement. My eyes were playing tricks on me while I was working on it.

I paint waves… but I also paint the feeling of being in them, on them, around them… standing seaside watching them…

The power, the movement, the constant change,
everything the ocean has taught me, especially the hard lessons.

This photo was taken just before I put my little signature on these pieces, and now they’re hanging at my show at the Bayside Resort in Parksville.

If you’ve ever felt pulled to the ocean, or wished you could hold onto that feeling a little longer, these might be for you. 💙🌊
