Originally called Cooksokie and changed to Queensborough due to the need for mail delivery our village has a lot of history and scenic beauty on the edge of the Canadian Shield. Surrounded by the black river, millpond dam, old store, hotel, train station, churches and many old century buildings the village has many stories to tell. We welcome all to come and see what we live in each day. Queensborough is such a beautiful place and tranquil setting that we ask you to visit and enjoy it too.
