As I work through cataloguing and editing images from Sunday, just wanted to take a moment to shout out the officials and volunteers who made the event possible. I am endlessly grateful for the patience with questions about if it was okay for me to be somewhere and learning more about all the processes behind the scenes!

There is just something so special about Track and Field - a sense of community, the way competitors will cheer one another on, how welcoming everyone is.
Years ago when we decided as a family to donate to support the , being invited to photograph the first non-school competition at the wasn't on my radar. Goes to show you never know where life will take you!
I have more than a thousand images worth a second look and some possible editing - an album will be created soon and images added as they are ready!

What a beautiful day for the first non-school track and field competition at the new ! Can’t wait to dig more into these captures (and all of tomorrow’s too!)

I’ve been seeing this one on social media for a month and a half and this coming week I want to play! Anyone know what I’m making? K will most likely be my first model when it’s done but I can think of a few kids who might have fun with this (and the project that’s next afterwards!)

This Saturday, KNix and I had the joy of taking in a bit of the Teej Festival. Warmed this mama’s heart to hear K so excited to discuss the fashion, music and dancing and then eager to learn more about what a boli is when we got home.
