I can't believe I'm saying this right now but Christmas shopping for this year is almost complete.😁

I know, I know, that statement doesn’t really seem like it’s post worthy. But if you know me at all, you’d know that my Christmas shopping starts in December and is completed about a week before Christmas, every year.

I think being a mom has taught me to take advantage of the little time I do have and get little tasks done as soon as I can. I’m still getting there, but I’ll celebrate this win.😅

With that said, for the little shopping I do have left, I would love to stick to buying from small businesses and not resort to Amazon for the rest of my list. So, if you know a small business or if you are one, please tag you or them below so I can have a look!🎉

This week I got sick during my busiest season of editing this year. Somehow, I put my head down and delivered about 27 sessions, sent a bunch of proposals for 2023, and managed to dedicate this Sunday to my family in Prince Edward County.

I still have a long way to go, though. So now, I’m back in my editing cave working on getting the rest of these galleries to you while Dimitri’s on daddy duty.🤍😅

It’s safe to say Sarah and Mitto’s wedding day lived up to all of our expectations and did not disappoint in the slightest. After a long friggin’ wait, they finally got to have the party they’ve always wanted, with the ones they love most. This was one I was excited and honoured to be apart of. I truly love and appreciate all of those who trust me to do my thing with no expectations or strings attached, just complete trust and faith in my work.

Perks of being in a small room surrounded by all of your closest friends and family.. You get to have everyone cheering you on in your first dance photos.🥹

Can you think back to a moment where you missed a person or place. What did you do to reminisce? What were you able to do that truly made you feel like you could relive those memories again? It sounds so cliche but it’s been proven time and time again that when grieving the loss of a loved one we gravitate towards old photos. When missing a moment in time or even a place you once were, you always find comfort in going through old photos.

Tina had gotten photos done before, and she told me that the experience she had with me was like nothing she’d experienced before. I showed her a few photos on the back of my screen and she saw how much emotion and genuine laughter came out of mine. She said she loved my approach and how at ease and comfortable she felt. I could have cried when I heard that. Because that is my ultimate goal.

I will always give you direction when needed, but I’ll always set up little moments that allow you to be yourselves and show the love you have for one another.

One day, your kids might sift through your photos and when they do I want them to see those belly ache laughs and how much you enjoyed each others company not a planned and posed photo shoot with fake smiles and forced poses.
