I realized it has been a while since I've posted something - these photos have been sitting ready to go and I just kept forgetting to get them up here! They are currently being featured on my instagram as well (). I will also add that shooting into water through glass (and a lot of CURVED glass!) is NOT an easy feat! I definitely came home with more blurred, fuzzy, distorted shots than good ones.
Here's some of my favorite shots from Ripley's Aquarium!

Check out this lovely article from Syracuse University's website about Brian and Liz's proposal!! Features some of my favorite photos from the day :)

Liz Peck ’14 and Brian Balduzzi ’12 had been dating for about a year when Balduzzi’s mom suggested the couple make a stop at the “Kissing Bench” on campus.

Photos from Brian and Liz's proposal are finally up!! So excited to share them with everyone :)

Photos from Brian and Liz's proposal are finally up!! So excited to share them with everyone :)

From the moment Brian (my cousin, for those unaware) asked me to help, I was buzzing with excitement about this proposal. I texted them on the premise that I had an event coming up and really needed some practice posing couples and asked if they'd meet me up on campus at SU. I was so glad Liz was 100% on board with helping me, especially since the weather was not on our side. Even though we faced a morning of freezing rain and gross weather, Liz never wavered in her resolve to come out and help me. As soon as we got started, the rain switched to beautiful, fluffy, slightly intense snow, but it ended up looking gorgeous in the photos. I had to bite my tongue as Liz admitted that she hoped to take engagement photos here and get married in Hendricks Hall one day, and had to keep her on track as she unknowingly tried to steer us away from the Kissing Bench and to the opposite side of campus. Brian and I didn't actually have a concrete idea of how the proposal would go down, all we knew was that we needed to end up at that bench. When I was ready to go, I said "you guys just do your thing" and Brian took his cue to suggest, "I've got a pose" and completely shocked Liz by getting down on one knee. She kept looking at me, not really believing what was happening. By this point the weather was freezing and an all out blizzard, but I don't think any of us even felt it. I am beyond delighted with how these photos came out, and I have to admit most of the poses and locations were suggestions made by Liz (so she really did help me practice!). I'm so delighted to have her become an official member of the family, and so honored to have been a part of their special day
