New CAPIC Member, Artist Representative Cindee Karnick presents: Irwin Karnick Photography, THE SPIRIT, THE PEOPLE, THE LAND at The Peach Gallery, 722 College St., 3rd floor, Toronto, from April 23 - June 12.
Opening night, April 23 at 6 PM.
Irwin “Ike” Karnick’s work in Portugal and the Azores stands as one of the defining chapters of his six-decade career. Dividing his time between Canada and Portugal, he devoted nearly two decades from the late 1980s until the mid 2000s to photographing the Azores and mainland Portugal. These years produced some of his most poetic work.

The CAPIC Toronto 2026 Print Xchange on January 21 was a great success!
Professional photographers from around the GTA got together for our annual Print Xchange and pub night at the Granite Brewery.

Lots of great photos and good stories behind them. There were many conversations about photographic processes and the photography industry.

People connected with inspiring ideas.

Join us next year!

HELP PORTRAIT 2025 - Regent Park - Daniels Spectrum community hub - Saturday, December 13th

CAPIC Toronto Chapter and organizers Malcolm Lobban and Struan would like to thank all those who volunteered their time and services this year to make Help Portrait 2025 happen. We did a little over 100 family portraits and put smiles on many people's faces. Also, a big thank you to everyone at the Daniels Spectrum community hub for hosting us again this year.

Help Portrait 2025 refers to the global initiative where photographers and volunteers offer free, professional portraits to people in need, creating meaningful memories, especially around the holidays, with local events happening worldwide offering sessions with hair, makeup, and printed photos for families who can't afford them.
