Last Friday I had already shot a full dance program for Moonhorse Dance Theatre (I’ll post some pictures soon)
Killer sets from A Primitive Evolution Ghostfeeder and 3mILY at Bovine S*x Club
And still kept taking shoots all the way to my apartment door.
That’s a good day ❤️

What an excellent way to celebrate devil’s night.
At Bovine S*x Club shooting these amazing acts.
Thanks to A Primitive Evolution for having me out ❤️
I had it in my head that I wanted to mess with video so I wrestled with a vlogging camera all night. Was still able to grab a few cool stills.
The video stuff…don’t know yet but there is some pretty solid b**r soaked camera work.

My voice acting career had an auspicious start.
A partner of mine had this framed and at the time I felt awkward about having it on the wall.
I still do in some ways and it’s often tucked out of site.
But when all my successes feel hollow and vain I’m grateful to see this and remember that I did a small thing once to help end a very big bad thing.

Testing an old fav lens out that I’d ignored for years.
The algorithm seems to hate my shots lately so maybe this will surpass 8-12 likes.
The irony of artists posting on a platform that is the very antithesis of art is beginning to wear me down.

More for spooky season.
Natasha Nebula from a few Cabaret Macabre ago.
Always a treat to shoot her act.

More night street from the weekend.

It’s been so long since I had a good night out on the streets with a camera.
Shot this close to one am Sunday. Still my Saturday.
Said he was “Beatstreet” but I can’t find him on socials.
After a chat he was cool with me shooting this.
Cool guy.

Having my morning coffee here and doing some scrolling I read that I’m now the age George Michael was when he died.
Time is a funny thing.
He seemed like such a good human and wrote so many bangers. Thought it would be fun to take spin at Faith.

Spooky season let’s go.
Found this in a rejects folder while trying to organize my work into portfolios. I rejected it for the very reason I love it now. My work and the perspective and meaning of it grows with me.
