How weddings will be impacted by recent changes 👇🏻

Here’s what we know so far about the vaccine certificates.

Starting September 22nd, 2021 Meeting and Event spaces will have to screen for vaccinations for guests that are eligible to receive the vaccine. Only those that are fully vaccinated will be allowed to enter their space. This is for indoor weddings only. Outdoor spaces are exempt from this. If an individual is medically exempt from the vaccines, they will be able to enter the space so long as they provide the appropriate documents.

Guests will be able to show a negative covid test to enter the space as well, but this is only an option until October 12th, 2021. After the 12th, this will no longer be accepted.

If your ceremony is happening within a religious building, there will be no requirement for vaccination to enter the building. If your ceremony is happening within a meeting/event space there will be a requirement of vaccination.

There are no changes to the capacity limits at this time.

We are told the full legislation will be available as soon as possible.

It's official.... we're moving to Step 3 July 16! Attached are the restrictions as currently stated in the legislation. We're waiting for more clarification on dancing, and will keep you posted!

Have you printed your wedding pictures? ⁠⁠
It took us 3 years to print ours and made a wedding album. In fact, we almost lost our wedding digital due to Dell's negligence when fixing our computer which we stored a lot of our pictures. Some were never recovered.⁠⁠
Digital is not forever. Technology can become obsolete (remember floppy disk or DVD?) In fact, USB only have a few years of life and thus we always suggest our clients to back them up online and offline and in various places as a safety net.⁠⁠
But best of all, you can print your pictures and look at them from time to time. You can show them off to your friends and families in person whenever they come for a visit. You can touch, and feel, and reminise about one of the best days of your life. You can pass down to your kids and grandkids as your legacy. ⁠⁠
If you have not printed your wedding pictures or your portraits yet, we highly encourage you to do it now. And if you do not want to do it yourself, we are here to help 😉❤️ ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠

Do you like to wear short veils or long veils?⁠⁠
Or maybe you can have the best of both worlds by having them both. You can wear one during the ceremony and change to another one for the portrait.⁠⁠
We love veil shots; they are so romantic and fun. Although it can take a bit of work to throw the veil on the air (this is where a tall and strong groomsman can step in and help 😜) but the final portrait is always worth it. ❤️⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠
