Thank to and , for lending this to me to ride and entrusted with a bike that was merely little over 150kms.

This motorcycle, it's... quite surprising. I've never been much of a fan of Royal Enfields, but this one managed to catch me off guard. It's undeniably striking in its presence and size, but what really got my attention was its surprising capability. I mean, its dynamics are something else. Despite the 21" front, it handles superbly, stops impressively despite the weight, and deals with road bumps like a champ. It's honestly shocking! I can't recall being this impressed with a Royal Enfield that wasn't leaning towards a sportier model.

The engine, on the other hand, could have been a real game-changer. It packs enough torque and power without feeling strained. You can ride it slow, push it at mid-revs, rev it high, or maintain a cruise at various speeds effortlessly. It had the potential to be revolutionary. But here's the thing—it's just not smooth enough. The footpeg vibration dampers are a dead giveaway. Someone tried to tackle the vibrations, but it seems they struggled or ran out of time. It's the Himalayan's weakest link. I reckon many riders might get used to it, but it stands out because everything else about the bike is just so darn good. Also there are very less vibrations in a standing bike, you wouldn't nearly feel ant if you are standing still,but not when you are riding it.

I've surprisingly had quite a blast riding the Himalayan. Whether maneuvering through city streets or cruising on the highways, it's been an enjoyable experience. I didn't take it off-road, but I had a good laugh zipping through some of the roughest roads at a spirited pace, knowing the Himalayan would handle it just fine.

Overall, it's an intriguing machine. There's plenty it excels at and areas where it falls short. Coming from the previous generation yes it is leaps ahead, but then again it is still very heavy machine.

You feel that when you are pushing it hard and one time you decide to do a line correction while you have already committed to a line, I'll tell you this bike doesn't like that all, no, No, you just can't do it
