There is just something about summer sunrises at the Bluffs with your dog that feels like pure magic. ✨🐾

These aren’t sessions about perfect poses. They’re about watching your dog run as fast as they can with the wind in their ears, splashing through the shoreline, sniffing every new smell, and looking back at you with that face that says, “This is the best day ever.”

Our time with them always feels too short, but mornings like these have a way of slowing everything down. They remind us to be present, to laugh a little louder, throw one more stick, and soak in every second beside the ones who love us so unconditionally.

If you’ve ever dreamed of documenting your dog’s happiest place, summer sunrise sessions at the Bluffs might just become your favourite tradition.

Because one day, these photographs won’t just remind you what they looked like…

They’ll remind you exactly how it felt to spend a perfect summer morning together. 🤍

There is something so incredibly special about being invited back into someone’s life, over and over again.

I first met this sweet family because of their handsome pup, Huey. 🐾 What started as a pet session turned into capturing one of the biggest days of their lives on their wedding day, and now here we are… documenting this next chapter with their beautiful baby girl.

Watching families grow is one of the greatest gifts this job has given me. It’s never just about the photos—it’s about the relationships, the milestones, and getting a front-row seat to the moments that make up a lifetime.

Thank you for trusting me with your story from the very beginning. I can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes you. 🤍

Golden light, soft waves, and space for your pup to just be — sessions at the Scarborough Bluffs are truly something special 🤍

If you’re planning a pet session here, I’ve learned a few things over the years that make all the difference. Sharing my top 5 tips so you can walk in feeling relaxed, prepared, and ready to soak it all in:

☀️ Let your dog lead the energy

The Bluffs can be a big, stimulating environment — waves, new smells, open space. Give your pup time to settle in. The most beautiful moments always happen when we stop forcing and start following their pace.

🎒 Bring the essentials (but keep it simple)

Treats, water, a towel, and a leash you don’t mind being in photos (or one I can easily tuck away 😉). Sandy paws and happy chaos are part of the experience, so come prepared but not overwhelmed.

👗 Outfits that move with you

Think comfortable, and neutral tones that complement the natural landscape. You’ll likely be walking, sitting, maybe even getting a little sandy — the more you can move, the more natural everything will feel on camera.

💪 Trust the process

This location is wild, windy, and beautifully unpredictable. That’s where the magic is. Some of the most meaningful images come from in-between moments — a glance, a shake-off, a cuddle in the breeze. Let go of perfection and lean into the experience.

At the end of the day, this isn’t just about photos — it’s about giving your dog an experience where they can feel free, and capturing the connection you share in a place that feels just as alive as they are ✨

If you’ve been dreaming about a session here, this is your sign.

It’s hard to put this weekend into words.

Nine incredible families. Nine amazing dogs. Endless fields of blooming lavender. And so many moments that reminded me exactly why I love what I do.

Thank you to for opening your beautiful space and creating such a magical setting for these sessions. The scent of the lavender, the golden summer light, and the peacefulness of the farm made every photograph feel like something out of a dream.

To every family who spent part of their weekend with me—thank you. Thank you for making the drive, for trusting my vision, for celebrating your dogs, and for embracing every little moment together. Whether your pup was full of zoomies, happy to pose for treats, or simply wanted to soak in the flowers, each session reflected exactly who they are. That’s what I hope you’ll remember most when you look back at these photographs years from now.

One of my favourite things about photography is getting to experience places through the people I meet, and this weekend felt like the perfect way to welcome summer.

If you’re looking for a beautiful day trip this season, Tranquility Trails Farm is just over an hour east of Toronto and hosts so many wonderful events throughout lavender season. It’s a place that’s well worth adding to your summer bucket list.

Here’s to lavender blooms, happy pups, and a weekend I’ll be smiling about for a long time. 💜🐾

What a weekend. 💜

A HUGE thank you to for welcoming me into one of the most beautiful spaces I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing. The lavender fields were absolutely breathtaking and created the dreamiest backdrop to kick off summer sessions.

And to the NINE incredible families who came out with their pups this weekend… thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for embracing the heat, for laughing, for snuggling your dogs, and for creating memories that I know you’ll treasure for years to come. Every single session was so unique, and it was such a joy getting to meet both familiar and new faces.

There is something so magical about seeing dogs weave through rows of blooming lavender, watching families simply be together, and documenting those little in-between moments that become the ones we hold onto the longest.

If you’ve never visited Tranquility Trails Farm, this is your sign. Located just about an hour east of Toronto, they have so many wonderful events and experiences happening throughout lavender season, making it the perfect summer day trip.

Thank you again to everyone who made this weekend so special. My heart (and camera roll!) is so very full. 💜🌿🐾

There’s something really special about today. 🌿💜

Later today, I get to meet nine beautiful families out in the lavender fields for a day of mini sessions, and I already know these are going to be the kinds of moments that will be cherished for years to come. Family photos have a way of becoming part of your story, and I never take that responsibility lightly.

I’m also so incredibly grateful that we’ve been gifted such a beautiful day. Sunshine, lavender in bloom, and families simply spending time together… I truly can’t think of a more perfect setting.

It has me thinking back to my last mini session day at Mae Studio in Markham. It was filled with so many wonderful people, genuine connections, and moments that reminded me exactly why I love creating these event days. They mean so much to the families who come, but they honestly mean just as much to me as your photographer.

One of my favourite parts of planning these mini session days is dreaming them up alongside all of you. I’m always listening, always taking notes, and I genuinely want to know what you’d love to see next. Whether it’s a seasonal location, a unique concept, or something completely different, I’m all ears.

Cheers to a beautiful weekend ahead. I can’t wait to step into the lavender field later today and make some magic together. 💜

I still remember when I first started photographing dogs.

Back then, I was learning everything. Learning my camera. Learning my style. Learning how to work with dogs instead of expecting them to work for me. Figuring out what felt natural, what felt honest, and what felt like me.

Not long after, I started hearing stories.
Stories of grey muzzles. Slower walks. Difficult diagnoses. Families being told they might only have weeks left. Maybe months. Sometimes even days.

You never forget the first session that changes you.
The first time you realize this isn’t just about creating beautiful photographs.

It’s about preserving a relationship.

It’s about documenting the way they look at their person.

The way they lean into familiar hands.

The way they still light up at the sound of their favourite word.

That session shifted something in me.

What started as a passion project quickly became something much bigger. It became purpose.

These sessions — what I often call Legacy Sessions — are one of the biggest reasons I do what I do today.
Because while none of us are ever ready for goodbye, photographs have a way of holding onto the pieces we’re most afraid to lose.

If you’re walking through a difficult season with your dog, please know this is a safe space.

A safe space to laugh.
A safe space to cry.
A safe space to celebrate.
A safe space to simply be.

There is no right way to feel when you’re loving a dog through their final chapter.

But I truly believe that documenting those moments, however they look, is some of the most important photography we’ll ever create together. ❤️

One of the greatest gifts this business has given me isn’t just the chance to photograph dogs. It’s the people who love them.

The pet parents who rearrange meetings, leave work a little early, pack up treats, favourite toys, water bowls, and somehow convince their dog that a Tuesday evening adventure is the best idea ever.

Weddings are for weekends and the remaining time is for the ones I love most. I know weekday sessions aren’t always the easiest thing to fit into life. Between work schedules, family commitments, and everything else competing for your attention, it takes intention to carve out that time.

And yet, so many of you do.

You show up because these moments matter. Because your puppy won’t stay little forever. Because your senior dog’s grey muzzle deserves to be remembered. Because the everyday love you share deserves a place in your family’s story.

So to every pet parent who has made time for a weekday session, trusted me with your dog, and treated our time together as something worth prioritizing—thank you.

You’re giving me the opportunity to create my best work, but more importantly, you’re giving yourself the gift of memories that will only become more valuable with time.
And that trust never goes unnoticed.

Those are my people. ❤️🐾
