Conservationist Robert Irwin argues that generative AI dilutes the artistry of photography and desensitizes the public to real-world awe, favoring genuine, hard-earned wildlife imagery.

In an interview with Parade, Irwin highlighted the environmental costs of AI and its role in spreading fabricated visuals, confirming a ban on AI content in his Wildlife Photography competitions.

Happy 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟓𝐭𝐡… or 6th 😏⁣

Had an incredible time bringing this mash-up to life—Disney Princesses reimagined through the dark side. From 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚, 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥, 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐚, and 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚, this shoot was all about blending elegance with Sith Energy.⁣
⁣
This was shot late last year, and it’s still one of those projects that reminds me how powerful collaboration can be. From costumes to set design, lighting, and the people behind it all—everything came together so seamlessly.⁣
⁣
Huge shoutout to 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐬, run by 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭, for the space and creative energy. Being right next to 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐬 just adds to that magic, creative atmosphere.⁣

Now that's pretty cool!

The camera is only available in Japan, and is slated to go on sale January 30th. Fujifilm hasn't shared full specs – such as what size or resolution sensor the camera is using, or battery life, or a price as of yet. For now, we'll have to wait for details and to find out if it will be available elsewhere.

This week marks acclaimed Japanese film director Hayao Miyazaki's 85th birthday! Since founding Studio Ghibli in 1985, Miyazaki has produced a series of highly acclaimed animated movies.
Here's a shot I did with as Nausicaä from "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind."
