Photographs from a small weekend to Victoria in black and white with .singh for our second anniversary 🤍
Which one is your favourite?
Curation is the hardest part for me.
Before our lil trip, I saw for the second time, the Final Slam Dunk movie and felt really inspired. The movie is one of a kind! If you can watch it, I’d highly recommend it.
That night, I charged all the batteries and I wanted to put a bit more intention in photographing. It’s so hard to not take a photograph when you have a camera in the hand and so hard to sometimes take as well, when it’s not around your neck or in the bag somewhere. Thank God for camera bag, it not just helped me carry my equipment with ease, it also helped me shoot with intention.
I have been very inspired recently by the amazing photographs of and it almost feels unreal that these photographs exist. I found a comment on his post that said something about layering, and I realised, it was something I wasn’t doing in my practice. I tried on this trip, to practice looking. Like really looking.
It’s sometimes frustrating when the difference between what you want to create and what you can create is high. And in that frustration really just lies the practice, the doing of it, the space for learning.
