We had a blast last Friday at for a Cinco de Mayo DELIXIR takeover! 🌶️🌮

“THE THREE AMIGOS” featured a dragonfruit lychee Margarita (The Pink Dragon)🍉🐉, a spicy cucumber elderflower Margarita (El-der Fuego) 🥒🌶️ and our signature vanilla black raspberry Paloma (When Doves Fly) 🕊️🌺

While at a friend’s one afternoon I had the pleasure of seeing some of the photographs taken by Julie Speedie.
With Julie’s permission I used the photo (which I will post on the website) as my inspiration. I was drawn to it because it reminded me of the Lilly ponds I pass along one of my favorite drives, Aspin Rd. Skelton Lake area, Muskoka Ontario.

This is the most recent painting titled “SANDY’s SECRET”, 4’ X 4’ acrylic on canvas. The request for this commissioned piece was to take a picture of this special place that we reached by kayak under a metal bridge overpass. Once you have passed through to the other side, it feels like you have just floated into a mystical secret hideaway. Obviously enjoyed previously by evidence of this forgotten boathouse. I tried to capture the feeling inspired by the photo and the kayak trip.
