Beginning an arts career as a writer and regular photo-contributor for local magazines in Vancouver and international publication Adbusters Quarterly, she has worked as a commissioned photographer since 1995. Petelko has completed five solo exhibitions that have shown in Canada and the U.S., and was resident artist at Vancouver's Third Avenue Gallery. Laura Jane's work focuses on beauty, identity, and transformation.
