For those who haven't heard about our wonderful little downtown...the ARON Theatre is losing money. If we lose another of our downtown, "Small-town Icons", that leaves another HUGE hole in our town. Not many small towns still have original theatres. OMG, most do not have ANY theatres! We, as a community, own this beautiful, convenient and clean business. And whether it stays here or disappears like so many others, is controlled by OUR community! Only WE can contribute, and keep the ARON. Do you want to pay $18 dollars each at a Ciniplex, and then another $30 at a concession stand? And that Ciniplex is not a few minutes drive. At the ARON, you can get in for as little as $6!!! to see any movie made, and it is little money to eat at our concession stands. Most of the staff tat the ARON, are all volunteers. Soooo, Let's all get our community spirit/drive going, NOW, and go to the theatre before we lose it forever. They have community memberships, that you get great discounts on tickets etc, and they have Gift Certificates for a movie with popcorn!! Great stocking stuffers. Reality check...if OUR community does not support OUR ARON Theatre, it will be gone! Then everyone will say "oh, if we only knew they were not doing well, we would have made sure that we supported the ARON". Now you know...so go to the show...
