I don't usually post much about professional milestones, but this one feels worth sharing.

Earlier this year, I submitted a body of work to the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) accreditation program. I'm grateful to have earned accreditation in four wedding photography categories:

Wedding Photojournalistic
Wedding Environmental
Wedding Formal
Wedding Storytelling

PPOC accreditation is awarded through a portfolio review process where photographers submit their work to be evaluated against professional standards by a panel of examiners.

While it's nice to receive professional recognition, what means the most to me is that these images were created while documenting real moments, real relationships, and real wedding days for the incredible couples who've trusted me over the years.

Thank you to everyone who has invited me into their lives and allowed me to tell part of their story. This recognition wouldn't exist without you.

Big thanks to the wildly talented Kayla Butler Photography, who mentored me through the whole submission process.
