The annual Sun Peaks Dual Slalom was an absolute blast! 🌧️💨

The wet conditions made for some wild racing, with local legends Brett Tippie (official) and Shaun Melnechuk battling it out between the gates. Fast turns, loose dirt and plenty of good times!

📸 SUMMIT SHOTS IS HIRING! 🎿🏂

We’re looking for a Photographer & Photo Editor to join our team for the 2026/27 winter season at Sun Peaks Resort!

This is a flexible, shared role. Depending on the day, you may be photographing guests on the mountain or helping behind the scenes with culling, editing and uploading photos.

Position details:

• Part-time — approximately 15ish hours per week (depending on weather)
• Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
• $22.50/hour
• Sun Peaks winter season pass
• Great opportunity as a second winter job

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is a competent skier or snowboarder
• Has some photography and editing experience
• Is comfortable learning Lightroom and our editing workflow
• Has a positive, reliable attitude
• Is friendly, confident and energetic while speaking with guests
• Can work outdoors in changing winter conditions
• Can work efficiently both independently and with a team

You don’t need to be a professional photographer—we’re looking for someone dependable, eager to learn and excited to be part of Summit Shots.

So great to see everyone ripping laps and having a blast! Catching up with old friends and getting some amazing photos.

Thankyou to all that have supported us on this journey, we have officially been in business for 1 year! Huge ups to our team who smashed it last weekend and will continue improving skills/systems all summer long. See you next weekend for some new memories🤟
