It was a beautiful Saturday for a skate competition. This was the 4th year of Skate Jam 4 Sam, an amazing community driven fundraiser for Stratford Rotary Hospice in memory of Sam Beauchamp. With competitions for both kids and adults, live music, food and raffles, there was lots to enjoy. They are still accepting donations for this wonderful cause so please help them in honouring Sam and helping our local hospice.

Let’s be real—posing for romantic photos isn’t always easy.

Most couples start off feeling awkward, unsure where to put their hands, how to stand, or what to do. And that’s totally normal! But my job isn’t to make you look ‘perfect’—it’s to capture the real, unfiltered moments between you.

So instead of stiff, posed shots, I’ll have you stare into each other’s eyes as closely as possible and try not to laugh. Spoiler: you will. And in that moment, the nerves disappear, and what’s left is something real—love, connection, and genuine laughter.
