‼️🚨EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY🚨‼️

I will no longer be posting identifiable images of children on my photography page, signed release or not.

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing AI-generated CSAM depicting “fictional” children can be constitutionally protected when it stays within the home.

That is enough for me to say I will not be a part of the problem. If the government and laws aren’t going to adequately protect children from what AI can do with their images, then I feel a responsibility to do my part to protect them.

Will this affect my business?

I don’t care.

I always want to give my honest attempt at living on the correct side of history.

The safety of children and my clients will always come before my business. I am a mother and I will protect your child as if they were my own.

So to all of my current and future clients, I appreciate your understanding, and I will still be posting.

You’ll see detail shots, faces covered, or none face photos of any photo with a child in it. ♥️

The hardest goodbye. 🤍

There are some goodbyes you're never ready to say.

The kind where you wish you could pause time, hold them a little longer, memorize every detail, and somehow make one more day last forever.

These photographs were taken on the day they said goodbye. Not because it was easy, but because their love deserved to be remembered exactly as it was.

A lifetime of love, captured in the quiet moments before letting go.

She thought she was racing toward the finish line. She had no idea she was racing toward forever. 🥹

Jan created an entire Amazing Race through downtown Edmonton for Ronnie, complete with challenges, clues, and a final finish line.

But the final challenge was the easiest one of all:

“Will you marry me?”

I was originally booked to capture their fall engagement photos, but when Jan told me about her Saturday plans, I asked if she wanted the proposal captured too.

I’m so glad she said yes. 🤍

Congratulations to Jan & Ronnie on the beginning of forever. It was an absolute joy to witness this one. ✨
