I've been exploring around Highway 23 N lately - I've always spent time up there but it's amazing how much there is to discover in this area. Here's one from yesterday morning.

It's not every day you come across mountain caribou. In fact this is my first time ever seeing them in 15 years of living in Revelstoke. They are such neat animals! This is 3 of 5 that I saw, with another 7 or 8 not pictured in this herd.
