Several of my landscape images were selected for this issue, and somehow, one of my absolute favourite lavender photographs was chosen for the cover. 💜

But what makes this feature especially meaningful to me is seeing my work presented as a collection — alongside a headshot, my bio, and the photographs that have become such an important part of my journey as a photographer.

There’s something incredibly special about having the places, seasons, and little moments I’ve spent so much time noticing and photographing become part of a publication like this.

I’m incredibly honoured to be included in this issue of Chasing Light Magazine, and very grateful to everyone who has supported me, encouraged my work, and followed along as this little photography business has grown.

And that lavender field on the cover? 🥹💜
Definitely one I’ll be keeping forever.

✨ Friday update! ✨

I’ve been a little quieter on social media lately, but that’s only because I’ve been a busy bee behind the scenes! 🐝📸 I’ve been focusing on my current queue and making sure all the beautiful galleries and projects on my plate get the attention they deserve. 💜

And this weekend is another busy one!

🍇 I’ll be photographing an event that includes a beautiful vineyard AND a bakery I’ve had the pleasure of working with before — two of my favourite things!
💍 I have a pre-wedding session with a lovely couple getting closer and closer to their big day!
🌻 And I’ll be wrapping up the weekend with a beautiful sunflower session!

So while you may not be seeing me quite as much on your feed lately, I promise there’s lots happening behind the camera. 😉

Two years. 🤍

Two years ago, I took a chance on myself. Today, Lynzey Amber Photography is two years old!

Two years later, I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 🥹

Looking back now, I’m honestly a little overwhelmed by how far I’ve come.

In these two years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings, families, growing bellies, tiny new beginnings, celebrations, businesses, and so many of life’s beautiful in-between moments.

I’ve watched my work evolve, pushed myself outside of my comfort zone, taken chances, said yes to opportunities that scared me, and built something that I am genuinely so proud to call mine.

And while these two years haven’t always been easy, I’m especially proud of the fact that despite the personal challenges and difficult moments life has thrown my way, I kept going. I kept showing up. I kept learning, creating, growing, and pushing this business forward.

But none of this would be possible without you.

To every person, couple, family, business, and client who has trusted me with their memories — thank you. Thank you for choosing me, and for choosing me again and again. Thank you for inviting me into some of the most precious, intimate, exciting, and meaningful moments of your lives. It is a privilege I never want to take for granted.

Every gallery I deliver, every story I get to document, every person who trusts me behind my camera is a reminder of why I took that leap in the first place.

It was truly incredible to be part of such a heartwarming community event, and even more amazing to see the turnout. Lennoxville is such a wonderful community, and events like Groovefest are a beautiful reminder of what makes it so special.

I’m so happy I got to play a small role in capturing the energy, joy, and memories of the day, and I’m already looking forward to being part of it again in the years to come!

All set up and ready for a beautiful day at Groovefest! Today is all about supporting local; all proceeds of the event go to the Hut! ✨ Friday update! ✨

Whew… this weekend is going to be a BUSY one, and I am so excited! 💜📸

First up, I have a beautiful Lavender Mini Session 🌿💜 and then it’s time for GROOVEFEST! 🎶

If you’re heading to Groovefest, make sure you come say hi! I’ll have some fun things with me, including prints for sale, some little giveaways 👀 (keychains!), and even a raffle for a pretty awesome prize… 🤫

I can’t tell you what it is just yet, but let’s just say… it might involve getting in front of my camera. 😉📸

And of course, I’ll be wandering around Groovefest doing what I do best — capturing all the fun, smiles, dancing, and memories throughout the weekend! So if you see me, come say hi and don’t be surprised if I point my camera your way! 😂

Then, just when I thought the weekend couldn’t get any better, I’ll be wrapping it up with my THIRD wedding of the season at a gorgeous apple orchard in Mont-Saint-Hilaire 🍎💍📸

And just like that… I’m back! ✨📸

Vacation mode has officially come to an end, and I’m already back at it! A sneak peek has been sent off, galleries are back on my to-do list, and I’ve got a VERY busy week ahead. I’m feeling refreshed, inspired, and so excited for everything that’s coming up 💻🤍

There are also a few little surprises in the works for Groovefest that I can’t quite share yet… but trust me, you’re going to want to keep an eye out! 🤫✨

**Weekend update 🤍**

This weekend marks the beginning of a two-week adventure with my husband and our sweet pup—a chance to explore new places, slow down, laugh a little more, and fill my own heart with the kind of moments I love capturing for others.

If you're one of my amazing couples waiting on your gallery, I want you to know that this isn't me disappearing—it's me taking a breath so I can come back inspired, recharged, and ready to pour my whole heart into every image. Your galleries are waiting for me, and I can't wait to get back to them as soon as I'm home.

Thank you, as always, for your patience, your trust, and for allowing me to be part of such meaningful chapters in your lives.

For the next two weeks, you'll probably see a little less of me and a few more mountains, sunsets, puppy adventures, and memories being made. 🤍

This photograph was taken at the very first wedding I ever had the privilege of documenting. At the time, I had no idea where this journey would lead me—I just knew I loved telling stories through my camera.

Today, seeing this image published in a magazine feels incredibly full circle.

When I look at this photo, I don't just see a beautiful wedding. I see the beginning of countless early mornings, late nights editing, happy tears, incredible couples, lessons learned, and dreams that slowly became reality.

To think about how far I've come since that very first wedding fills my heart with so much gratitude. Every couple who has trusted me with their memories has played a part in this journey, and I truly wouldn't be here without you.

Here's to celebrating where it all started, and to everything still to come. 🤍✨
