Although Jim Murray, owner of Colour Tech Motorsports Photography, passed away years ago, his legend lives on through Murray Sports Photography. His son, Paul Murray, will be slowly uploading Jim's old photographs to his page. Check it out here:

To the friends, family, clients, and acquaintances of Jim Murray,

Yesterday, at 12:45PM, Jim took his last breath. Jim had spent the last year of his life dealing with the advanced stages of prostate cancer, but was lucky in that he had very little pain until the end. He was fairly lucid until the last few days of his life, and always kept a sense of humour.

Our lessons in this are not to be too stubborn for doctor's visits; don't stress, and laugh lots; follow a career path that you love and enjoy; and recognize that death is not a thing to fear, but a final stepping stone through life.

As per Jim's wishes, we will not be having a service. Instead, we will be having a gathering where we will request written stories and memories of Jim. If you would like to be informed of this date, please message Jim here, or get in touch with Riley Murray at [email protected].
