Nicole Cloutier Photography I'm Nicole Cloutier, photographer drawn to prairie skies, landscapes, historical buildings, & wildlife. I find beauty in many places.

My lens doesn’t settle in one place; it follows curiosity, emotion, & light wherever they lead. Welcome, I am Nicole Cloutier! I have been interested in photography for nearly a decade. I have an array of interests that aren’t limited to just one thing. I love to photograph, but don’t limit myself to starry skies, wildlife, people, the countryside, and historical structures. I enjoy new opportunities to enhance my skills through impromptu photo sessions that challenge my skill in everyday life.

Saskatchewan has a way of teaching you to look twice. What seems ordinary at first glance - a weathered fence post, a stretch of open road, a building standing against the sky becomes something beautiful when you slow down long enough to really see it. Out here, beauty doesn’t scream. It rises gently from the everyday, from the quiet moments we almost rush past. And the more I pay attention, the more I realize the extraordinary has been here all along, waiting in the stillness of the prairie

We’re so often told that beauty is somewhere else.
Somewhere far. Somewhere bigger. Somewhere more.

But I’ve found it here.
In the quiet of Saskatchewan.
In the stillness of open land, the glow of northern skies, and the moments most people drive right past.

These aren’t just photographs to me.
They’re pauses in time — reminders that even in the ordinary, there is something breathtaking if you’re willing to slow down and really see it.

Every piece you see here was captured with intention, with patience, and with a deep love for the unnoticed places.
And now, those moments don’t have to stay fleeting.

They can live in your home.
On your walls.
In the spaces where you rest, reflect, and just be.

This isn’t just decor — it’s a feeling.
A sense of calm. A sense of wonder. A reminder that beauty isn’t distant… it’s already here.

If one of these pieces speaks to you, I would love for it to become part of your space.

Some moments arrive like a soft interruption—unexpected, vivid, and impossible not to pause for. This Baltimore oriole perched in a Saskatchewan tree felt exactly like that. A flash of colour against the calm prairie palette, reminding me how often beauty shows up where we least expect it.

❄️ He Is Risen

Winter has a way of teaching us about faith.
About holding on when the world feels quiet and frozen.
About trusting that beneath all this stillness, something sacred is already stirring.

This photo was taken on a cold day... snow all around, breath hanging in the air, that deep hush that only winter knows. And yet even there, I felt it… the quiet promise that Easter brings.

Because the miracle of the empty tomb isn’t just a story from long ago.

It’s the reminder that God brings life out of places that look lifeless.
Light out of darkness.
Hope out of seasons that feel endless.

He is risen, and He is working in our lives right now in the waiting,
in the wondering, in the places we’re still praying for breakthrough.

If you’re walking through your own winter, may this day whisper to your heart:
Spring is coming. Grace is moving. And you are never forgotten.

Happy Easter!
May His resurrection hope warm you from the inside out.

There’s something about a reddish‑pink sunset that feels like the sky is exhaling after a long day. The world softens, the colours deepen, and even the smallest glow becomes a quiet reminder that light doesn’t have to be loud to matter.

Out here under the wide prairie sky, the stars feel like promises. Millions of tiny lights reminding me that even in the vastness, we’re held, guided, and never alone. There’s a quiet peace in knowing that the same God who scattered these stars also watches over us.

Exploring Saskatchewan has taught me this—
you don’t have to go far to find something beautiful.
Through my lens, I’ve learned that light always finds a way in—
even in the quiet, even in the overlooked places.
And maybe we’re not so different from the landscapes we chase…
soft, raw, unfolding, waiting to be seen in the right light.
Sometimes the hidden gem isn’t the place—
it’s the way you begin to see yourself again.
There is beauty here.
There is beauty in you.

Out here, where the winter road drifts into the horizon, peace comes easy. The world feels wide and unhurried, and the path ahead—endless as it is—reminds me that moving forward doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it’s enough just to exist, to breathe, to follow the quiet line of the land.
