Tonight, I sat along the waterfront in Peachland and watched the glow of the Bald Creek Fire burning across the lake, currently affecting Summerland and the surrounding areas. 💔🔥
It’s incredibly hard to sit and watch something so devastating unfold so close to home. My heart is heavy tonight, and my thoughts are with everyone affected by this fire, those who have been evacuated, those waiting anxiously for updates, the families worried about their homes, and the incredible crews working tirelessly to protect our communities.
Stay safe, look out for one another, and stay strong, BC. ❤️
