The same goes with most things in life, don't care about the thought of what could be, don't care if you feel like life "owes" you something, just enjoy the ride, the journey, and all the beauty that comes along with it.

Mystical scenes last night 🌌

It was super cloudy around sunset, ended up using a cloud coverage map, driving a little, and finding a perfect road 30 minutes from town. Smiles on our faces all the way to 3 AM, but a memory that'll last a lifetime. ✨

It's crazy that these past two years, I barely took any photos outside of photos I took for work. Guess somewhere along the way i turned my hobby into work and kinda lost my hobby in the process. If that makes sense.
Sometimes you get so caught up in the stuff you have to everyday that you lose sight of why you even started. I just can't wait for the weather to get better so i can go out, explore, and regain my hobby once again. Got hard drives to fill and memories to make!

Hey, It's been a while! About 2 years since i last posted here. Well, a lot has happened...

To sum it all up, i made a huge career change. I went from doing professional food & product photography to doing web design & development.

Feels surreal to say this, but 2 weeks ago, i joined as a Growth Experience Designer working on ! 🥳🎊

Can't even count how many times I've been rejected by a client or a job for not having "experience" working in a team. Glad those other positions didn't work out!
I went from being self-employed for the past 5 years to joining THE leader in creativity.

Most important of all, i couldn't do any of this without this woman right here. She stood by me when i literally had nothing and always motivated me to pursue my dreams. Couldn't ask for a better partner in life.

Today is the first day of spring and multiple cultures including us Persians, celebrate it as "Nowruz". It marks the first day of our calendar as well and it literally translates to "new day". Honestly, there's just something about the beginning of the year being the same as the beginning of Spring that just feels right. There's a big whole world out there and yet sometimes all we do is worry about stupid things and surround ourselves with toxic people. It's such an easy thing to remember but somehow it's easy to forget as well. So the next time you're worrying about what toxic people think, think about this. I'm sure if you live in Ottawa, you definitely need a reminder of this given everything that's going on these days! ✌️

Sunset doing its thing on a pretty cold winter day. ❄️
It's funny how we ended up visiting this spot actually. We were on our way back from Toronto where we saw a sign for Gananoque, and we saw the exit was going towards Lake Ontario. Obviously, we just had to take the exit to catch the sunset! Although there weren't any clouds, the colours did not disappoint!
