I haven't been posting many of my shoots lately because I've been juggling far too many things & needed to take a step back from posting my work on social media. My shoots these past few months have been so incredible & this one captures exactly why I do this. That momma & baby bond literally takes my breath away. These candid shots have my whole heart.

this sweet little soul seriously stole my heart. these newborn shoots are getting harder for this momma who desperately wants another little babe of her own. little man Gibson has so much character for a 10-day-old & already so much love for his mommy. I loved this so much.

I've had requests for Christmas shoots which I'm thrilled about because they're my favourite!
The details are : Saturday November 28th
25 minutes per family upstairs at the Baldachin Inn in Merrickville. Time slots start at 11 am & the cost is $100 for all the pictures I take, edited in colour & black & white. Let me know if you'd like a spot! 🎅🎄🎁

It's hard for me to even express the emotions I have now & had at the time of this birth. I feel so blessed & so fortunate to have witnessed this little baby's first breath & to have captured it all on film for the parents. I have seen many births & have endured two of my own & I have never seen a momma push so hard & remain so calm through the entire thing. These pictures tell the story of the happiest moments of two people's lives. I'll never forget the dad repeating over & over "I have a little girl, I have a little girl?" I spent these early morning hours photographing an incredibly perfect birth. This has quickly become my passion. Capturing a baby's first breath, literally takes mine away every single time. I am so fortunate & I am so tired & I can't wait to kiss my own babies in a few hours.
