It's been a busy few months! This past spring, I had the joy of shooting Christian and Bernice pre-wedding / engagement session. Of course, Katu their handsome doggo joined in and was a very good boy. The Greenhouse was the perfect colourful place to be since it was still colourless outdoors. We had some laughs and all around love. These are a few of those moments. P.S. Not w**e in the glasses - cranberry juice. lol We ended the day at Princess Louise Falls. A perfect day - thank you both - I had a lot of fun with you.

I had so much fun taking photos of my furry girls. It's time to help decide which pet superstars make it into the 2027 Pet Valu calendar. Remember: swipe right - yes, you've got my vote! And speaking of birds, another new one showed up today in my fountain. I can't seem to find it on Merlin or Google. Can anyone help? 🤔😏🤣 (Have to always make time for fun!)

Yet another bird spotting! This morning, before I even finished my first coffee, I spotted this Common Yellowthroat. After 14 years here, she is a new one for my yard in Fallingbrook, Orleans. I don't live near marshes or wetlands so you can imagine my surprise! She daintily dipped her toe into the birdbath and said "nope, not today". lol It pays to get up early, be observant (as much as possible with only the first coffee!) and keep a camera in your lap. :-)

This is a new one here for me. After 12 years in my home in northeast Orléans, a Brown Thrasher. He's been around for a couple of weeks singing away in his "1000 voice choir" from sun up to sun down. I'm pretty pleased to add this to my list. 🙂

So thrilling to be asked by The Ontario Career Lab to be a Career Coach at the upcoming career day at an Orléans high school. I get to share my photography journey with grade 9 and grade 10 students - it is exciting to hopefully ignite a spark in a young adult (or two or a few) by talking about my passion. I do think I'll leave out the part about how much I rely on caffeine though. LOL

It was very thrilling to photograph the Steel Toes and Stilettos Gala for Habitat for Humanity! So many people giving of their time, energy and donations towards a most worthy cause.
