To everyone affected by the flooding on July 1, I hope you're holding up.

There have been a lot of tears over the last month. Seeing what was destroyed, documenting everything, packing up our belongings once again... it's been a lot.

My family has been through so much loss, heartbreak, and change over the past five years. Some days it feels like we've had to start over more times than we ever imagined.

But this photo is also a reminder of our strength. We've kept moving forward, even when it felt impossible. We've come so far, and there's still so much growth ahead of us.

This is a fresh start. A new beginning that we didn't quite get when we first moved into this home, a home that holds so much meaning for me and my family

I love evening walks with my fur baby some evenings we get to see the fireflies glowing around here. I think they are one of my favourite insects! Who else likes them!
