I am a 30-year-old self-taught photographer based in Ottawa who is passionate about capturing all things beautiful. My aim is not to sell my photography nor create any sort of business, it is simply to share my photos with the world in hopes that others will appreciate them. I also want to share and spread my appreciation for nature. I started my passion for photography about 13 years ago when I was inspired by my father and nature itself. My father who also had a great passion for nature photograhy passed away when I was 10-years-old. I vividly remember him carrying his camera around with him everywhere he went. He captured beautiful photos that I remember amazed me when I looked at them as a child, not only because they proved his artistic talent and skill, but also because they proved to me just how much beauty there is that surrounds us everyday. I have inherited and carried on his passion and eye for beauty. I am fascinated by the details that one can see through a macro lens that may not be visible to the naked eye. In our busy lives, we are sometimes blind to the beauty that surrounds us, and oblivious to the peace that this beauty may bring to our lives. Photography allows me to capture the beauty that surrounds me and to share it with others, hopefully spreading the sense of peace and happiness that I feel when connecting with nature.
