People often ask us, “What’s the hardest hike you’ve ever done?” ⛰️
And our answer is always the same: simultaneously, this one. 😂😭
The hike itself isn’t even super technical — no ropes, no crazy scrambling, nothing like that. But the elevation gain and the never-ending army of mosquitoes might just be enough to make this one unbearable. 🦟
It’s truly one of those hikes where we’re incredibly happy we did it… and equally certain we never want to do it again 🙌🙈
Every time we drove through Pemberton, we’d look up at this mountain towering over the town and wonder what it would feel like to stand on top of it. And then, somehow, we did.
Mount Currie tested us in pretty much every way possible, but standing up there and looking back at the landscape made every mosquito bite, every miserable moment and every “why are we doing this?” worth it.
One more big one crossed off the list. And one we’ll happily admire from the car next time 🤭
