How lucky am I?

June 21st 2026 - the unveiling of my photo exhibition at Obadjiwan Fort Temiscamingue ♥️

I am eternally grateful to Parks Canada for this opportunity, but a very special thanks to Simon and his entire team at Obadjiwan.

Thank you to the friends and family who showed their support today. I love you all 🥰

I'm incredibly honoured to invite everyone to the unveiling of my photography exhibition, "Kwekiwe'adjimowin - Reversing the Narrative" , on June 21 at the Obadjiwan–Fort-Témiscamingue National Historic Site.

This project is very close to my heart. Through portrait photography, I've tried to create space for conversations about Indigenous identity, contemporary realities, and the stereotypes that too often continue to follow us.

A huge thank you to Parks Canada and the team at Obadjiwan-Fort-Témiscamingue National Historic Site for believing in this project and giving me this opportunity. As an Inuk photographer from a small northern community, seeing my work featured in a National Historic Site is something I never imagined growing up. ❤️

The exhibition unveiling begins at 11:30 AM, and there's so much happening throughout the day! Come celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day, enjoy the pow-wow, music, dancing, food, artisans, and all the amazing activities planned at the site.

If you're in the area, I'd love to see you there and share this special day with you.

Parks Canada has always done meaningful work alongside Indigenous communities across the country, and it’s really beautiful to see that reflected through the Indigenous Guardians video project.

Proud to have some of my photos featured in the Timiskaming First Nation portion at Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue 🥹

Respectful Viewing Note: This video includes a brief scene showing the preparation of an animal after a hunt as part of traditional practices.Guardianship is...
