Every wedding day, I remind my brides that things rarely go exactly as planned. I tell them to take a deep breath, soak it all in, and remember that the most important part of the day isn’t the timeline, it’s the reason everyone is there. No matter what, it’ll be their perfect day.
When I said those words to Alysha, none of us could have imagined how the day would unfold.
What followed was a powerful reminder that two things can be true at once. A day can hold heaviness while still being filled with incredible love, joy, and moments to remember.
