How many of these do you agree with?

There are many reasons why investing in professional photos of your dog is so important. Let’s face it, we all take 100’s of photos of our dogs with our phones everyday - but how many of them are worth printing? How many truly capture your dog’s personality? And how many times have you thought “I wish I had some photos of my dog and I together”. I promise you won’t regret getting professional photos take of your best friend 🐕♥️

Your dog can’t sit still? They don’t need to! Photographing dogs shouldn’t be all about posing and sitting still. Dogs want to run and have fun and I’m all about that.

Your dog can’t be off-leash? No problem. I’m always happy to edit our collars and leashes.

Finally time for a little introduction!
Hi 👋🏻 I’m Jocelyn, your local professional pet photographer here on Vancouver Island. Currently based in Nanaimo, I travel all over the island for photo sessions.

A few things about me: I’m 31 years old. I have an adorable rescue dog from Mexico named Tui, and she’s named after my favourite native New Zealand bird. I also have a sweet 14 year old orange tabby cat named Tyrion.

I absolutely love exploring the island, getting out for hiking trips whenever I can. Being in the woods and living by the ocean is so important to me. In 2019 I hiked the West Coast Trail, and hope to hike the North Coast Trail one day!

Photography is obviously a huge part of my life. I got my first DSLR when I was 15 and fell in love with wildlife/landscape photography. After years of working with dogs professionally in daycare facilities, I discovered my love for photographing dogs!

Thanks so much for following along and choosing me as you pet photographer! I can’t wait to see what the future holds and am looking forward to photographing more pets!
