This photograph was taken in St. Joseph's Hospital, North Bay, Ontario, 2009. His father just learned from the nurses how to wrap him for the journey home with mom and dad. St. Joseph's Hospital was torn down not much longer after this.

I took this portrait of Mayor Jack Burrows, 27 years ago when he was still in office, in 1996, North Bay, Ontario. I placed a large black backdrop and a 3 light set-up in his City Hall office, and captured him at his desk. I only asked if they would leave his work on top. He was a pleasure to talk with during our half hour session. After his passing, his family submitted this portrait as their favorite, for the front cover of a local publication that was honoring Jack's memory.

A timeless portrait in a country setting, this shot was taken in the township of Chisholm. I was visiting with my Daughter and Grandson for my birthday, April 16, 2020, and we had to keep our distance during Covid, especially as front line SSW workers. So, we had a great outdoors walk, photo shoot, and happy birthday.
