My approach is natural and relaxed, focusing on connection and spontaneity. I’m based in Moose Jaw & area, but I’m always up for an adventure! I discovered my love for photography as an adolescent, inspired by images of faraway places in my dad’s old National Geographics and armed with the vintage film camera from his younger days that he tau
ght me how to use. I dreamed of becoming a photojournalist and one day showcasing my own work in NatGeo. However, life (and God) has a way of taking us down different paths than we envisioned – sometimes hard, always unexpected, but often beautiful. After the death of my husband, I put my camera down for several years. Picking it up again has felt like finding my way back to myself, and now I find so much joy in capturing moments of connection between couples and families, and truly appreciate the gift it is to create. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me painting landscapes, hanging out with my golden retriever, at the piano, or reading a good book. Interested in working with me?
