When I make photographs, I am guided by the vision that I see. I don’t get distracted by trends or opinions, all I want is to make what I see in my mind. That’s it.

It is only recently that I’ve had the realization that I have to approach my life and goals the same way: focus on the vision and kill the distractions.

We hear your voice, your pain, and your fear. We may not know when it will get better, but it will. Because while we may see many who follow the words of the idiot in chief, the world knows that you are still capable of great things.

New York is perhaps one of the greatest exemple. Folks came together to help each other like never before. As long as there is kindness, there is hope.

Despite all that, it’s okay to be hurt. If you feel like laying on the ground, it’s okay. If you feel like crying silently as the rage, sadness and pain take over your thoughts, that too is okay.

Whatever you do, it is okay. Take care of yourself and do your best each day.

To have a positive impact around you, it is necessary to lead. People will look to you for guidance and companionship. It is because you know where you’re going that they will follow you. Thus, you must decide and have confidence in where you are heading.

One of the reasons I like making photographs of urban settings is for the stories I’ll never hear.

Who’s driving the car? Where are they going? Are they happy? These questions always make their way into my thoughts as I glance at the roads around me.
