Ironically, when I was a student, drawing was not one of my favourite subjects. I was impatient and drawing took way too long to get to the end product. king in the dark room (yes, those were the days before digital photography became prevalent). In today's hectic and fast paced world, however, I find that taking the time to slow things down and concentrate on the details required to complete a portrait help me to ground myself. After spending many hours working on a portrait I feel a strong sense of satisfaction in knowing that the work of art that I just created will be cherished my someone. Giving a portrait drawn in pencil is a wonderful and unique way to personalize a special gift - perfect for any occasion, such as birthdays, anniversaries, the birth of a new baby and weddings. All that is needed is a digital photo of the person(s) that will be drawn. All drawings are done on acid-free paper.
