A fitted lace gown with long sleeves, a matching head covering and a lace-edged veil long enough to fill the room. Elegant, modest and completely her.

We let the veil do the talking. Lifted into the air beside the bookshelves, fanned out across the floor and traced in soft window light. Calm, graceful and every inch a bride.

Khadicia and Jordan, a beautiful beginning surrounded by nature.

Their wedding morning was grey and rainy, and it could not have been more perfect. Two clear umbrellas, a quiet path through the pines and a first look they will never forget.

They read letters to each other in the rain, laughed through the nerves and then held on tight. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. Looking at these two, we believe it.

A garden full of roses, a long blue fountain pool and a couple dressed head to toe in white. Their day was every bit as soft and romantic as it looks.

Vanessa, rooted in heritage and absolutely stunning.

Every detail of this look told a story. A hand-woven gown in natural raffia tones, sculpted with braided rope and finished with a fringed hem. Bold geometric patterns that echo the woven textiles of Central Africa. Cowrie shells tucked into her sleek bun, long a symbol of wealth and prosperity across West and Central Africa, and a woven fan held like an heirloom.

Set against the garden greenery and golden evening light, she looked regal, grounded and completely herself.

Traditions are how we carry our families, our history and our identity into every new chapter. Seeing a bride honour where she comes from on one of the most important days of her life is something we never take for granted.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating today.

Gratitude and humility walk together. Nothing I have built, and no room I have stood in, came from me alone. It came from God, from my family, from clients who trusted us, and from people who showed up when it counted.

So today I am saying thank you. For the lessons, for the doors that opened, and for the ones that closed for my good.

Stay humble. Stay grateful. Keep learning how to be the best version of yourself.

Ope and Lane, the white wedding.

Before the aisle, there was a quiet moment by the window. Ope, glowing in an off-the-shoulder lace gown, soft waves falling past her shoulders and a smile that lit up the room.

Then came the first look. Lane waited on the porch in his dress uniform, and when he turned around, neither of them could stop smiling. One long embrace, and every nerve of the morning melted away.

Their couple portraits felt like a love letter. Lane at the piano with Ope by his side, their reflections caught in the polished lid, a kiss on the cheek in soft black and white, and a gentle kiss on her hand. Elegant, warm and so completely them.

From their traditional ceremony to their white wedding, it was an honour to tell their love story.
