One of the most enjoyable aspects about what we do is that we create and capture moments in time. Sometimes we capture many of these moments, particularly when photographing dancers or for dance studio's. We often record someone's journey in their dance world. Ella's journey has been remarkable and a privilege for us to witness.

This week we found a magical Fall location, and made some wonderful images with Kylie. We would love to use this area again before the leaves are all gone, probably within the next couple of weeks. If you are a dancer , have a family or would love to make some magic, let us know.

It's almost been a 'normal' year. So great to have a creative session with Kylie. Grateful for her early morning commitment and energy towards creating a wonderful selection of images. Just a couple posted here.

These past few months/years have given us time to reflect on some of our images, especially when we haven't been able to create them for a while. So looking forward to getting back to doing what we love.

A recent Grad session with Faith. What a wonderful time we all had on this creative session. Hopefully something she can remember and have a great record of, as like many others this year, she missed out on Prom.
Yes we are still able to offer these sessions into the Fall, along with location Dance and creative Portrait sessions.

Usually about this time we would be sharing images of some of the wonderfully talented dancers we would have been photographing. Certainly miss the opportunity to work with the studios and dancers. Hopefully we are on the way to resuming some of our sessions soon. Fortunately we did get an opportunity to photograph the Elan Dance Arts competitive showcase before all this happened.

Last years Grad season was wonderful, like most other years. This year things are quite extraordinary. Our family is also experiencing the difference, having both a grade 8 and grade 12 student. We are aware that many acquired gowns and suits before everything was turned upside down, expecting they would have an event to go to. We would love to create something special for this years Grads, when we are able to. It could be in a gown, or even something quite casual. It would be a photographic 'event', an opportunity to capture some wonderful images and not let this year just slide by and become the year that wasn't (Grad wise). If this sounds exciting or if you have some thoughts or ideas please get in touch or message us.

During this time we have been fortunate to record families for some of the 'Neighbours of - ' magazine, from a distance, but everything else, like most other businesses has ground to a halt. We have missed creating images so much, that when we cleaned out some of our garden planters and found moss growing in them, we just had to get the camera out.
