Outrun The Darkness documentary 🎬

Earlier this year, I followed John, Marvin Salazar & Bernard Abarquez as they took on the Sulphur Springs 100K + Ottawa Marathon as part of John's 19-year celebration of recovery.

After months of editing, refining, and going back & forth with John, we finally got to put it out into the world last weekend, doing a screening at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon expo!

If you've been following John Shep, you'll know that this 23-min doc isn't just a running film; it's pushing forth a message on mental health.

Special thanks to Conor Nesbitt - C.A.N Media for the second camera angles, and Jamshed & Dusty of Solaria Music for composing the score 🙌
