20 Years. 5 Countries. 300+ Weddings. A Thousand Memories.
THANK YOU. 💛

As we mark 20 years in business, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. From capturing “I do’s” across five countries, to chasing golden hour on the Prairies and into the Rockies—you invited us into your lives, and we’re better for it.

Saying we’re grateful doesn’t even begin to cover the emotions that come with stepping into this next chapter.

🎞 While we’re shifting our focus and pursuing new passions, we’re not fully putting the cameras away.
We’ve kept our gear, and we’re still booking a limited number of shoots—including graduation sessions, commercial work, family portraits, and yes, a few weddings still to come this year. We’re also continuing to design and manage websites for businesses we believe in.

🌾 Our hearts are now leaning more into life on the land at Lakeside Acres, building the RAPID Standard Barrel Race, and working alongside the incredible business owners we’re proud to support. We’ve got a few adventures ahead—and it’s time to slow down just a little.

Hi! It’s been a while! After 20 years, hundreds of weddings and thousands of hours documenting grads, family moments and commercial projects… it was time for a switch.

Yes we are still taking some photos of those special moments but our energy has shifted to our land at Lakeside Acres and hosting some barrel racing events. We aim to create lasting sponsorship partnerships with COMMUNITY CREATORS to host events and continue building websites and marketing for small businesses.

I might be terrible at posting on social media now (not even going to watermark these) but that doesn't change how much it means to capture people's special milestones and moments. We are busy with grads, lifestyle shoots, website work, commercial photography and gearing up for our July wedding run.

I ADORE these two as individuals and LOVE that they found each other, soooooo very much. They make such a special duo. You know when you just meet people who are your people... who just fill you up. This is what the character and spirit of these two do for me. Our shoots are never long enough to truly catch up on alllll the things.

Fun fact, I went to China with Zac when he was a teenager (so easy to travel with) and I simply LOVED coaching Kim! They aren't kids anymore and they are going to make INCREDIBLE parents.

Oversharing because they bring me joy and I still get tears when I look back at their wedding photos.

Gush, over!

SNEAK PEEK
Another great time capturing this beauty last night before she heads off to school to and to play basketball at Concordia! We chatted basketball and swatted bugs for a couple hours as we ran around the City. Shooting in the evenings has been a nice break from barn construction by day. Feels good to send this package on it's way to Tayla and her mom.

Another fun shoot in the books! Grateful this fun family drove over from Lloyd last night to my new home land and appreciate a good friend letting me use a very special location. Over 900 originals are on their way over to this beauty tonight!

It's been a minute...
Thank you to everyone who chose us this grad season to capture their special moments. We are 5 grads away from being wrapped on one our biggest runs yet! I enjoyed the break from worrying about sharing on social media and just focusing on editing and delivering packages. But, it's time to get back to celebrating these special kids and seeing what you think of the memories we captured.

This share seems fitting with the Calgary Stampede on a and this beauty whipped up to meet me tonight 15 minutes from home before heading back home to Saskatoon. I don't know how I got lucky enough that she chose me but this was a night I won't soon forget

Time for some kudos and raves from our 5 BIG evenings of time spent shooting the hundreds of beautiful and sweet dancers from the Dance Connection. This project was BEYOND out of my comfort zone and turned into one of my favourite photography projects to date. Thank you to Daylan for trusting me with your staff, students and families and working with me to make it all happen! I still can't believe how she ties it all together and produces something so special for the stage.

To my MVP of 2023... Maegan Towes. She not only made me feel welcome to the North Battleford creative scene but she quite literally rolled out the red carpet of learning. She lent me gear, stands, took calls, offered advice, wasn't scared to grab the camera and show me and most of all just reminded me, "Do your thing!"

If you haven't been to the Home Hardware in North Battleford you need to add it to the list of where you shop regularly. Everytime I am in there the team is doing something for sponsorship and taking time to truly help people. It's pretty cool having a friend who owns a Hardware store!

Yllah. Miss Yllah! When I took the project I told Daylan that I needed to have someone handy that could help with some of the posing, names and tweaking fingers, toes, shoulders and costumes... I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any of the important details and Yllah was supposed to be a "helper" but she turned into my right arm. This girl is GOING PLACES and I couldn't have done it without her.

Lastly, to my Mom and Mitch. Mom came down to take orders, collect payments, answer questions, make sure I ate and didn't forget anything- I wouldn't have survived the week without you.

And, my main man- Mitch! You pushed me to do this, showed me that I could and listened to me frantically search for the right colours of paper backdrops all across the country for days. XO Babe.

I have learned I LOVE indoor photography, artificial lighting isn't scary and that dancers are some of the most thankful, fun and sweet people on earth... also, Dance Mom's aren't crazy. Believe that! ;)
