Elyse Anna Photography Elyse Anna Photography Hi I’m Elyse (Anna is my middle name)! I am a wedding and maternity photographer living on Vancouver Island, BC. This is what drives me.

I started my photography career at the age of 9 years old, when i got my first disposable film camera for a school field trip to the salmon run. Long story short, I was hooked. I am a lover of all things outdoors, except for the wind. No joke, I truly dislike the wind! I generally spend my days listening to classic rock, drinking tea, gardening and hanging with my fiance and our baby boy! I live o

n the WestCoast in BC and adventure as much as I possibly can, always with my camera in tow. I also love spending time at home and absolutely love meeting new people and getting to know them through my photography while capturing special moments. Those last moments of carrying your child are often some of the most magical moments.

Bow don’t get me wrong, they’re definitely the hardest final weeks/days! They push you to really connect with your babe and your body and truly bring you to your brink… and then you get to meet this beautiful little human you created and you would do it alllll over again. I’d say that’s pretty damn magical ✨

I finally got to capture some of our closest friend’s baby bump! 🐣

Funny story… we were supposed to do them on a Tuesday and somehow the Monday was overcast. They live right across the street so I text Allie asking if she was down to do them asap to take advantage of the clouds and to escape the 30degree weather the following day. We made a quick plan and rushed out for their session! Less than 24 hours later, she was in labour…. five weeks early!! 😅

I think the clouds were definitely on our side that day!!! ✨🌥️
