2025 you have been a wild ride thus far.. Everytime I think it’s about to slow down for a minute for me to catch my breath I’m hit with another curve ball… this week we have finally reached the finish line of clearing out my dads old place and now he’s settling into a wonderful retirement spot close to us… the change has had a lot of challenges, big emotions & hard decisions to be made… he’s safe now and on a new routine & a lot more cognitively with it… Dealing with dementia is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to try tackle and honestly I know it’s not going to get any easier.. it’s so hard being the bad guy to everyone when no one fully knows the entire picture but are quick to judge and attack.. now that he is safe and the big task is done it’s time for me to recover… being in and out of the hospital with my dad and my weakened immune system has taken a toll & wound me back up again with double pneumonia for the second time since February 🙃🫣. This time my oxygen levels did drop and I feared I would have to go back into the hospital but I remained calm, monitored and did the things I needed to do to heal and Recover. Fear not!! I am on the mend & now that this big storm of tackling the big move is done I’m able to sit and reflect… heal and recharge my batteries…. 2025 is all about big change… so much change has already happened and there is so much more to come! I want to thank everyone the last few months who have been there… I wouldn’t have been able to do this with out your support. Adulting is hard! But having an amazing community, family & friends is making it possible when show up to the storm and shine their light to light up the darkness.. thank you for being there to everyone who’s been there for us.

It’s been a minute since I’ve been here behind the lens… photography has always been a huge passion of mine and I love it so much. But with how much I love it, it also holds a lot of memories that pack a lot of emotions that come along with it. I only opened up a few spots this year for a few clients so I could ease back into it. I’m so beyond grateful for my wonderful clients who came out today and got some amazing memories I can’t wait to upload to the session and post some of their photos! Today felt amazing and I’m so glad I never gave up on my dreams. This is truly my favourite time of year and I’m so grateful to be here and be able to do these sessions. Next year I will be opening more spots and will advertise more. But thank you so much to the wingers family for coming out today! It was so good to see you all & meet your three newest members to your pack. 🖤

Shannon you never stop amazing me with every new project you come up with! I’m so beyond grateful to be on the ride along with you helping out making some custom advertisements and posts for you! I truly have always been an advocate for mental health but now I am more then ever. I’ve learned so much about myself this last month. I thought I had control of my life & was doing things well. But the truth of it is I wasn’t. I was pouring from my pitcher and it was empty… I have learned so much about myself this past month & I am so beyond grateful for the staff and support at as well as my councilor donna for giving me so many new tools to use in my tool box for life. I have so much support from my network and I am going to move mountains. I learned it’s okay to not be okay, it’s also okay to be weak but know that is just a feeling in the moment. Focus on the here & now and don’t obsess about the future! Now is the focus! This alone has helped me so much this last month when I have been feeling overwhelmed. Trying to navigate with a brain injury is really hard at times and I won’t lie I’ve felt incredibly defeated at times! Coming home was an amazing feeling but also was incredibly overwhelming at times after a near death experience! I will never allow myself to get that sick again and that’s a promise I have made to myself and I will never let me down again🖤
If you are ever struggling & need support or a friend my inbox is always opened to talk! You’re never alone & there is so many resources in our community that are there to help! If anyone needs help finding them I have a list from the hospital that I would love to share with you all! Never be ashamed to admit you’re not okay because it’s okay to not be okay! But make sure you talk about it because keeping it bottled up is never healthy and it will never fix anything. Your mental health is the number 1 important thing! You’re braver then you think & stronger then you know🖤 sometimes we just don’t realize it till we have to!! But know you’re a bad ass & can move mountains! You got this friends!! Let’s crush the rest of this week !!!

Little Maggie 🥰 this little lady belongs to one of my best friends . Stacy truly is my hero and helped me stay calm and be there for me in the hospital. I was so so so scared but she helped me over come my fear of the hospital and I will forever be grateful for all you’ve done to help me the last little bit. I truly love you to bits & can’t thank you enough for being there for me at my darkest times. I truly am so beyond grateful for you and everything you do! This is Stacy’s little lady who stole her heart from day one maggie! Maggie is the sauciest little baby girl with the biggest heart. She is truly the sweetest little lady! This past fall we went to the cottage and her and cashew bonded so much it made my heart so full! Stacy you truly are the best animal mom ever and your furbabes are soo lucky to have such an amazing mom like you. Thank you for being such an amazing person. You truly are the best and I along with so many others are so lucky to have you in our lives. You truly wear your heart on your sleeve and are the most genuine, funny, creative, smart, determined and amazing person I’ve ever met. Thank you for doing all you do! You are such an amazing person!
