Found an old armchair on the side of the road on the way to this shoot… and you bet I threw it in the back of the Jenny Cox-mobile and tossed it in the woods.

Three slightly wild boys (twins included), one super mom, and all the fall chaos you could ask for.

Breezy day, leaves everywhere, and enough laughter to keep warm — these boys really do lover their mom!

What started as a simple evening family session turned into something truly unforgettable.

We met at the park just before dusk, heading down the path toward the flat rocks to catch the last light of sunset. As we walked, “Floyd” (not his real name) caught up to me — a little nervous, but smiling.

“Hey, she doesn’t know I’m going to do this… but I have this,”
he said, showing me a ring.

“Say less,” I told him. “I’ll set her up at the end of the point — that’s your moment. I’ve got you.”

I positioned Sarah for what she thought was a sunset portrait. He walked up behind her, dropped to one knee… and she said YES.

A perfect moment, captured forever.

Some of you may recognise this sassy little lady as a Jenny Cox Photography VIP.....Late this summer I got the opportunity to photograph her splashing in puddles, cuddling her mama and making faces as the sun set down on the flat rocks.
