Those busy season vibes are real!

They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck... Well Brooke and Cam must have ALL the luck in the world!!

Their beautiful backyard wedding started out.. well... WET! But one of the things that I love most about weddings is how much everyone comes together to make the day happen for the couple that they are all there to celebrate!

Friends, neighbours and family worked tirelessly to make things happen and in the end it couldn't have been a more beautiful and perfect day, for the sweetest couple!

These are the memories that I feel so blessed to get to capture!

Alexis and Joe celebrated their sweet little elopment on a Wednesday in December.

The rest of the world went about their regular work days while we snuck away to a cute little cottage outside of Eugenia.

They quietly shared their vows with the company two of their close friends, in a location that was deep and meaningful to them both.

After the ceremony they jetted off to the local hockey arena to skate some laps which is an activity that is very true to them!

It was such an honour to capture this sweet intimate day for these two 💗

“share a little moment”

Every photographer has that one phrase that they will say over and over again!

Guilty! And for me that phrase is “share a little moment”

There are lots of reasons why I say it. Sometimes it’s because I’m working on an artistic shot, sometimes it’s because I’m take a very wide shot and I’ll be too far away to direct my couple, and sometimes it’s simply because my brain has gone blank and I need a moment for the creative juices to start flowing again 🙊.

But it’s a line that I love to use because there is meaning behind it too.

I want your sessions to feel like a date, fun, flirty, and filled with connection. Telling you to share a little moment is my way of asking you to take a moment to reconnect, to check in with one another and just BE together.

Because that authentic connection is gold for us photographers 😉
