With wedding season just starting up there are a few things that come up at almost every event.
Let your guests know if little ones are allowed on the dancefloor for the first dance.
Some couples just want to be alone, and some are fine with little ones running around.
Don't just assume they can, reign in your kids if they are actually blocking the photographer or videographer. We have had some that just would not stop putting their faces in front of our lens and stopped us from getting any shots that we were crouched or laying flat on the ground to get.
Good thing we have two skilled photographers to grab the shot, but seriously.. 😳
If you see your little one doing that, please come and retrieve your child, so the couple can enjoy creative shots from many different angles.
Also if this is a child-free wedding.. Don't bring your children. 😂 They will have nothing to do, everything is set up for adults.
And last but not least.. Unless the brides says it's ok, or there is a dress code that includes the colour white.. DON'T WEAR WHITE! ❤️

We love all the kiddos, they usually give us some stellar shots and all around have fun throughout the day, and usually keep people on the dancefloor!

Spring is a funny time.
Autumn slows everything down. Leaves fall, grass fades, the air cools and settles.
Winter wraps us up, part hibernation, part celebration. Snow, lights, and long nights.
But spring… spring is different.
It’s a reset. A fresh page. The start of everything coming back to life.. green grass pushing through, snow still clinging to the mountains, valleys waking up with sunflowers, lupins, and wildflowers.
But before the green, there’s the in-between.
The brown. The soggy yards. Half-fallen leaves still figuring out what they’re doing.
Mornings that need a jacket… afternoons that feel like summer.
That’s life in Canada.
That’s life in the mountains.
And maybe that’s the point.
In the middle of everything going on in the world, we still get this, these cycles, these small moments that remind us how lucky we are. Watching the trees bud. Hearing birds return. Feeling the world wake up right outside our door.
Life doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes, it’s just this. ❤️
