What a TRIP!
Up and down Mt. Becher with a long time friend, this summer was a gorgeous grind! She's hiked Becher 30 or 50 times, and I could not have asked for a more enthusiastic local guide. I'm only sorry I bent her hiking pole while I careened down the scree slope at the bottom. Alas, no limbs lost, nor blood shed.

Mt Robson: I met you at the age of 11, and loved you then. Now, back in your arms, with the warm forest, cool snowy breezes, glorious wildflowers, chirping birds, fragrance of fir trees and pine, and chill of your pure waters, I understand how deeply I still love you. Your beauty is in a word: awesome.

No, you won't have a blue tongue, or streaks of red on your chin, but the flavour of the iconic rocket blast popsicle is on pointe.
